The Conference is a warm and friendly space. We want all of you to feel safe and welcome here, regardless of your ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, appearance or religious belief. Appreciate each other’s differences, leave every inch of hate at the door and be mindful of the people around you. We know – from nine years of organizing this – that you are intelligent and well-meaning folks who don’t need to be reminded of this, but nevertheless.

Speaking your mind is appreciated – encouraged, even – but don’t forget to listen too. Build on each other’s stories. Collide. Debate. Engage. Question. But don’t let your frustration get the best of you. Tolerance is often the first thing to vanish when a situation gets out of hand. Take one more breath and focus on what’s really relevant.

We welcome deviating opinions, debates and discussions – but harassment or bullying in any form or shape, have no place here at this conference (we know you know). If something doesn’t feel right, you can always come and talk to any of us working with The Conference. Participants asked to stop with any bad behavior are expected to do so straight away. If a fair warning doesn’t help, violation of this code may lead to expulsion from the conference. No refund, no nothing. Capisce?

Very well, then. Check the box to show you’re on board!
